Spot Weld Calculations

These calculators help determine if your electrical setup is compatible with a certain spot welder. They are provided on an as needed basis to electrical engineers and switch gear suppliers, as well as the worksheet containing their formulas.

Simply type in the KVA of the spot welder in question (and the input transformer input voltage for transformers) and the max current draw (or max service required) will be calculated.
